Biography

Dr. Nicolas Zwillinger is a plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgeon known for his extensive experience in body contouring surgery and his advanced expertise in the treatment of lipedema.

He is the director of Clinique Paris Étoile, where he practices and welcomes patients to his cosmetic surgery clinic located in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, in a modern, safe, and highly specialized medical setting.

For over 15 years, he has built a practice centered on technical precision, patient safety, and medical excellence. He performs WAL (Water-Assisted Liposuction) using the original method, a tissue-preserving technique recognized for its precision and optimized recovery.

Dr. Nicolas Zwillinger was the first French surgeon to treat lipedema using the WAL method, beginning in 2018. This pioneering work has given him solid clinical experience and specialized expertise in managing this condition, which is still not widely recognized.

Expertise backed by a large medical team

Dr. Zwillinger’s practice is supported by a close-knit, experienced, and highly qualified clinical team: surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialized medical staff work in constant coordination at the Clinique Paris Étoile.

Care is never provided on an individual basis; it is collective, structured, and medical.
This approach ensures a high level of safety and a rigorous professional framework.

Thanks to strict protocols, careful selection of cases, and proven technical expertise, the clinic has an extremely low complication rate.

Maximum safety and a well-controlled outpatient procedure

Procedures are performed on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home the same day—provided their medical condition permits—under strict supervision.

Every patient receives ongoing, personalized care provided by Dr. Nicolas Zwillinger and his team:

  • In-person follow-up

  • Remote monitoring

  • Structured medical availability

  • Support before, during, and after the procedure

Continuity of care is an integral part of the medical profession.

A vision: to build trust

According to Dr. Nicolas Zwillinger, trust is not based solely on results, but on:

  • Medical transparency

  • The strictness of the protocols

  • The experience gained

  • Teamwork

  • Professional and medical communication

This requirement is reflected not only in surgical practice, but also in the clinic’s image: professional, medical, well-organized, and supported by a large team—never working alone
